Spur 327 is a four-piece band based in Lubbock, Texas. Founded in 2010, this country/classic rock band started as a cover dance band playing a wide variety of hits including songs from 1990s country, classic country, Texas country, classic rock and party song classics. Since then, the band has written several original songs and will release its first album, Dodging Armadillos, in late 2018. With musical influences including the Eagles, George Strait, Brooks and Dunn and Jimmy Buffet, songs such as Beneath the Texas Sunset ,One for the Road and I'm Goin' Down to Big Spring have already been packing dance floors across west Texas. We have recently had the opportunity to open shows for Ronnie Milsap and Clay Walker, Jay Leno and Eric Paslay. The band includes Heath Stewart, lead vocals and rhythm guitar, Andy Hackney, lead guitar and vocals, Tyge Payne, bass guitar and vocals, and Todd Chambers, drums.
The Hub City and the roads of West Texas is where we currently live and perform. We are following our dream of playing music and performing our own songs We are currently working to finish our first EP, recording at Amusement Park Studios. We love collaborating with other artists and experimenting with different sounds of music.
We find inspiration all around us. We try to make our music representative of who we are and our generation. We look for the places that most people don't give a second glance.
